  I actually have called many times and e-mailed them, as I want to donate towards the new temple they're building, asked about a puja and have a Murti blessed. If a Mandir doesn't call or respond to a person wanting to give a donation that's pretty sad. I also tried joining their website and was never sent a password. I am not east Indian, but have studied Hinduism for over half my life, I wouldn't recommended this Temple to anyone, there are several other great ones here in Tampa...

  I was in this temple on August 22nd 2009 for a function called "Mata kee Chaukee". I saw a priest in the temple that was performing all the ceremonies. Right after the ceremonies, I saw the very same priest beating his 3 years old son to the extend that his son's cheek was almost blue in the color and no one in the temple including me objected to his cruel act. I regret for keeping quite and being a silent viewer. After coming home, I was thinking I should I called law enforcement agencies and informed or at the minimum, I should have stopped that cruel person. But my question is, if a person that is so cruel to his son, is responsible for worshiping in this temple, what kind of temple will this be? This is totally against law and this is totally against Hinduism.

  It's a good temple for family visit. Just tough with kids or baby.
